Our Purpose
My name is Samuel Coggin, and I’m the 16-year-old founder of Thelese Films. When I was seven, my grandfather passed away — before I ever had the chance to hear his stories, his lessons, or the wisdom he carried. That loss stayed with me.
I created Thelese so no one else has to feel that same regret — to help families capture their stories while they still can. Every interview, every film, every box we send out is made with the same care and intention I wish I’d had for my grandfather.
The name Thelese itself comes from my grandfather — it was the name he used for all of his companies. Continuing that name means continuing his legacy.
